The adidas Outdoor Advertising campaign has now been around for a long time, with the company releasing it in 2010 to help promote the new Nike sneakers.
Now, the adidas online campaign has also made its way to your car, with adidas announcing on Monday that it will be used in Australia as well as the United States and Canada.
Adidas is aiming to make use of its adidas Outdoors campaign to promote the upcoming release of the Air Max 1, which will be unveiled at the Nike Showcase on February 18.
The adidas “outdoor advertising” has been around since 2009, and it was first introduced in the United Kingdom and Australia in the spring of 2010, before moving to the United Arab Emirates in October 2011.
Now that the shoe is on the market, it will make its way into Australia as part of the Adidas Australia Tour, which runs from February 14 to February 17, and will see it featured on billboards, posters and street art in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
The Australian campaign is the first time the adizas outdoor advertising has been used, with Adidas explaining that the company has been working with the Australian Government and industry groups to make sure the outdoor adidas ad campaign will work well with the upcoming Air Max One release.
“Adidas Australia is working with industry and Government to make it easy for Australians to buy Air Max Ones on the Australian Tour,” said a statement from the ad agency.
“We’re working hard to make this happen, so you can buy the new Air Max one this weekend and have the chance to enjoy the new technology.”
Adidas’ Outdoor Advertising Campaign is available to download for iOS, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows Phone 7 and 8.
