Dubuque, IA (WIVB) – While most of the world’s smartphone cameras are designed for high-resolution video, the Dubuques newest smartphone is designed for selfies.
Dubuquese artist and videographer, Kaleem Shaban, is developing a new way to take high-quality video using a phone and a laptop.
Dubuoque resident, Kalyani Nall, has been developing a camera system that can record a selfie in just a few seconds.
Nall’s camera system is called “The Microphone”.
It’s designed for mobile devices that can’t capture full-frame video and only have a 5-megapixel sensor.
It’s made with high-end parts and features a 4K camera and an infrared sensor to help it record the moment a person looks at a camera.
Duboo resident, Shaban and his team are using the Microphone to capture videos.
They are developing an app called “Microphone” to help the public take a video on a smartphone and record it on their mobile phone.
Dubuequese photographer Kalyan Nall is developing his own camera system.
His “Micro Phone” smartphone is the camera that will record video.
It is called a “Micro” and is based on a camera that is in the same mold as Nall’s Microphone.
Dubuidos newest smartphone, the Micro Phone, has a 5.7-inch screen and has an IR camera built in.
It’s a $1,000 smartphone that will be available for purchase this spring.
Dubuzies latest smartphone, “MicroPhone,” has a 4.5-inch display and is available for $1 to $2,000.
Dubuedequese resident, Nall said he has been experimenting with the technology and developing it to help people take video and take photos with smartphones.
He said his goal is to have an app on the MicroPhone that allows anyone to take a picture with their phone, or have a picture taken with a phone, with a few clicks.
Nalls Microphone app will allow anyone to capture a photo with their Microphone, or take a photo of a person and then record it with their camera.NALL said he’s also experimenting with how his technology can be used for education purposes.
Dubujese photographer, Shafi Kariyani, is also using his camera system to record videos.
He is also developing a software called “Honey,” which is a phone app that can be installed on smartphones that allows people to capture video and post it on YouTube.

Dubuyquese-based photographer, Kariya Shafi, said the company that developed Honey, an app that lets people take videos, will be offering it to the public this spring for free.
She said her company is developing the app as a free app and that she is willing to work with anyone to develop the app.
Nalyans Microphone is already available for sale on Apple and Android phones, but she said the new app will also be available on the new iPhones.
Nali’s MicroPhone app will be a free download.

She also plans to provide more apps on the app store for people to download and use.
