B&G has a new ad campaign, called The New Truth, that’s being run on social media platforms.
The campaign will focus on the idea that “there is no truth at all, but a lot of it is just propaganda”.
“It’s a little bit of fun to see what you can get away with, but it also shows us that the truth is out there and we need to be very vigilant,” says Mark Thompson, the chief marketing officer of B&g.
“We’re not afraid to share what we know and what we’ve seen that’s proven to be accurate and trustworthy.”
But it’s about how you use it.
“According to the B&Ga, The New News, created by the advertising agency Bigger Picture, will air on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter in the coming weeks.
It will be a free-to-air ad that will appear on YouTube’s News Feed and will be shared via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The campaign will also feature a new story that’s set to be shared at the end of each hour that will show a different version of the story, with the headline “B&G reveals it’s a ‘fake news’ company”.”
This is a brand-new ad campaign and the adverts have been designed by Bigger Pictures.
We wanted to do something a little different, something that was a bit of a challenge,” said Thompson.
The adverts, called “The New Truth”, will run on a variety of social media sites including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn.”
