The nation’s second-largest hamburger chain is in talks to buy Adwords rival Adwords.
Burger King’s announcement comes as the burger chain prepares to launch its new “Burger Day” promotion.
The campaign will see customers place ads in a Burger King mobile app that will lead to a chance to buy a limited-time Burger King burger for $1.99.
The company said it is also in talks with other brands about selling its Adwords product, including Coca-Cola, which has been a strong advertiser in the burger-focused space.
Burgarian chain Burger King has been steadily expanding its business in the fast food industry, buying up brands such as Shake Shack and Shake Shack Express.
In addition to Burger King, the company also has several burger chains, including Shake Shack, Denny’s and Big Mac.
